MILAN FW11 FASHION FAVES

WOW! Milan's shows were amazing! Although I will have to admit some of my favorite designers are here: Jil Sander, Missoni, Marni and Prada. Fendi has inspired me to invest in some colorful wool tights. Lovin' the pastel, sorbet textures—mixing masculine and feminine shapes beautifully. Hands down the most breathtaking show by far for me would have to be Gucci; the colors were intensely rich, glamorous—turquoise, coral, fuschia, lavender, tangerine, grey and black.

LONDON FW11 FASHION FAVES

I was a tad less impressed with London FW11 Fashion Week this year. I did however love Acne; simply because I could picture myself wearing the cool, cropped leather pants. Pringle of Scotland gorgeous knitted ponchos/capes caught my eye; especially in shades of blue.

NY FW11 FASHION FAVES (CONTINUED 2)

There's something about this Rodarte show which is reminiscent of a Marc by Marc Jacobs show a few years ago...especially the knitted sweater with geometric shapes; perhaps that's why I like it? The nostalgic quality of the patchwork helps too.

NOW THIS IS TRUE LOVE...

I can't help myself. I have to tell you....I'm in love. But not with my gorgeous, amazingly talented, sexy husband. No. Well, yes. But also with Prada's Spring 2011 shoes. I know...I know...it's materialistic, superficial and perhaps I'm a little obsessed with shoes. It's true. But I can't stop thinking about 'them'. Yes, plural. Feast your eyes on these...
